Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator/Sales professional to join our construction team. This role involves preparing accurate project estimates, engaging with clients, and supporting project development from initial contact through project completion. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the construction industry, a strong desire to learn, and solid computer skills. Prior experience is not required. The Estimator/Sales professional will play a key role in securing new business opportunities while ensuring cost-effective project planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using estimating software.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project scope and develop competitive pricing proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Conduct site visits to gather accurate data and assess project requirements.
- Assist in the development of project budgets, schedules, and cost control measures.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.
- Review construction documents, contracts, and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of construction site operations, project management principles, and cost control strategies.
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
- Familiarity with construction management software and project scheduling tools is a plus.
Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
