What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Saunders Real Estate?
Saunders Real Estate is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to lead a team responsible for developing and executing multi-brand marketing strategy, and communications across our Land, Commercial, Auction, and Valuations divisions. You'll be the architect of how Saunders markets itself — to landowners, investors, developers, and the advisors who represent them — across 8 regional offices and a growing multi-state footprint.
You'll need to honor a 30-year legacy built on trust and land stewardship, while continuing to oversee the building of the content, digital infrastructure and campaigns needed to compete for the next generation of clients and advisors.
You'll report directly to the President and work closely with the executive leadership team, division leads, and 125 advisors to ensure marketing drives measurable results across brokerage, land management, property management, valuation, and auction services.
Required
- 7 years of marketing experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience marketing in real estate, land brokerage, commercial real estate, agribusiness, or a related field
- Demonstrated success building and executing multi-channel marketing strategies with measurable return of investment
- Develop marketing strategies on multiple levels such as Brand, State or Office Specific, as well as business lines
- Strong command of digital marketing tools: Marketing Automation, CRM, Analytics, SEO/SEM, AEO/GEO, and Social Media Management
- Lead-nurture workflows for a distributed sales/advisor team
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills — able to translate technical land, timber, and commercial real estate concepts into compelling content
- Experience managing a team - Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Preferred
- Experience in land, ranch, timberland, agricultural, or conservation-focused real estate
- Familiarity with land and commercial listing platforms
- Experience supporting or marketing to a network of independent brokers/advisors
- Event marketing experience, particularly conferences or industry summits
- Prior experience with a company through a rebrand or spin-off from a franchise/affiliate network
