Duties and Responsibilities
Project Engineer Interns:
- Prepare required documentation for area of responsibility
- Copy and distribute documentation per procedures.
- Receive data and compile summary reports of activities for supervisor on weekly and monthly basis as required.
- May be required to control a specific type of material or equipment depending on particular assignment.
- Takes jobsite photos.
- Posts RFI's and Bulletins on field drawings, office drawings, and as-builts.
- Copies submittal comments from master set to additional sets.
- Files submittals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be subject to overtime on an as needed basis.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience
An Intern must be currently enrolled in a Construction Management program or similarly related field at a college or university.
Pay Range (based on experience and needs)
- $20-$22/hr

Physical Demands
The following are some of the physical demands commonly associated with this position:
- Spends approximately 50% of the time sitting, and 50% of the time either standing or walking while on the job
- Occasionally* lifts up to 50 lbs, when moving project binders, office supplies or files, and may stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance while performing these same functions
- Occasionally required to climb, crawl, stoop and negotiate ladders, stairs or other routes at and within project sites in order to fulfill duties
- Constantly uses verbal and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as E-Mail, telephone and radio
- Constantly employs eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery such as computer keyboard
- Constantly utilizes full scope of visual capacity to travel to project sites and observe/verify project progress in addition to operating automated office equipment
