We are seeking a friendly and attentive Counterperson to join our team at a busy pizzeria. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and ensuring a positive dining or ordering experience. Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and assist them with placing orders both in person and over the phone.
- Take accurate orders for dine-in, takeout, or delivery, ensuring all customer requests are understood and fulfilled correctly.
- Handle cash register operations, process payments, and provide receipts.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and ingredients to help them make informed choices.
- Prepare and package food items as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter.
- Maintain a clean and inviting counter area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery to customers.
- Manage customer concerns or complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels at the counter.
