Associate (ERISA)

Saul Ewing is seeking an ERISA associate with 3–6 years of experience to join our corporate practice. This position is open to our Pittsburgh or Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate will have broad-based employee benefits experience spanning compliance counselling, drafting, and mergers and acquisitions. Core experience should cover both qualified retirement plans (including multiemployer and defined benefit plans) and health and welfare plans (with depth in Affordable Care Act controversy and compliance). Experience with executive compensation arrangements and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) is preferred, and experience with benefits-related controversy matters before the Department of Labor and the IRS is a plus. An excellent academic background and exceptional research, writing, and communication skills are essential for this role. Bar admission required for the jurisdiction of practice. The anticipated pay range for this role is $205,000 – $235,000.
