Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for Adjunct Welding Faculty.
Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River, between the cities of Dixon and Sterling; the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.
Responsibilities:
To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Reports directly to the Director of Business, Career & Technical Programs who is the supervisor over the position.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate will have extensive experience in one or all of the following: TIG, MIG, Industrial MIG, Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), and/or robotic welding. Welding certificate or AWS certification preferred but not required. Five years welding experience in lieu of certificate.

Hiring Range
$896-$1,026 per class load hour
