What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Level V Paraprofessional #3437-Mississippi Heights Elementary position at Sauk Rapids Rice Public Sch?
POSTING #: 3437 WORK HOURS: 6.5 hours per day (7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.), Monday through Friday, for 172 contract days (170 student contact days plus 2 inservice days during the school year) per school year. JOB DUTIES: Duties may include:
- Assist student(s) with special needs in the classroom (i.e. behavior management, social skills, crisis intervention and instruction in basic skills)
- Supervise special education student(s) to ensure safety
- Assist with collecting and monitoring of student progress data. SALARY and BENEFITS: Salary based on the 2023-2025 Paraprofessional Agreement Level V, Step 2 at $19.35 per hour. Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following:
