The purpose of the Victim Witness Specialist is to provide information and assistance to crime victims and witnesses regarding restitution, court procedures, and referrals to various agencies for services and ensure that victims’ and witnesses are apprised of their rights under Wisconsin statutes and Constitution provisions and to perform related reporting and recordkeeping tasks for the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.

- Please note: The Victim Witness Unit within the DA's office has an emotional support dog named Gino. He is a part of the team and is in the office daily.
