What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saugus Public Schools Extended Year Special Education Program Director position at Saugus Public Schools?
Under the direction of the Pupil Personnel/Executive Special Education Director determines a plan and notify students and staff of the participation, schedule, student activity schedule, direct service responsibilities, student configuration, duration of programming and direct service delivery of the Extended School Year Special Education Summer Program. Responsibilities to include but not limited to, program schedule development, parent communication of schedule, direct contact with all summer staff, July - August, onsite daily management of students and staff support, development of transportation schedule and communication with PPS Office regarding all transportation needs, daily communication with PPS Director, building level communication with Principal, distribution of materials and supplies to ESY Staff, recording of staff attendance and reporting of payroll to PPS Office. Hours are varied and not to exceed seven (7) weeks total during the programming period.
