Mentor Teacher Leaders - Grant Funded

Participate in in-district training with state approved Mentor Training Instructor Hold Fall &/or Spring training session (s) for those interested in being Mentor Teachers in the Saugus Public Schools Participate in planning, set-up and design of New Teacher Induction Program and 2nd year Mentor Program Coordinate and assist in the development and instruction of the district Mentor/Mentee Program monthly Model professionalism Attend professional development offerings in support of the mentoring program Such Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may deem appropriate Responsible to the Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability Qualifications: Has a minimum of five years teaching experience Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education Professional Status with both the Saugus Public Schools and DESE
