Responsibilities:
- Serve as customer specific ILS project manager and point of contact for customers after order entry for ILS specific questions
- Develop and plan how compressors will be supported once they are in use, including spare parts, manuals, training, etc
- Coordinate with design engineers to influence system design for supportability, along with identification and support of obsolescence to existing systems
- Initiates and maintains submissions as required within customer documentation systems and aligning status between internal and external systems
- Point of contact for achieving project goals including adherence to deadlines, budget and quality
- Organizes and moderates meetings and presentations to achieve project progress
- Prepare technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, training guides, and provisioning data
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure parts and tools are available when needed
- Track and improve how well our products perform over time
- Support customer inquiries and help resolve logistics-related issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with military and industry standards
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a closely related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2 years related naval industry experience
- Experience with government contracts and compliance required
- Understanding of ship and vessel design and build processes preferred
- Experience with PDM systems: Aras Innovator, PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault, SPARS or other mil specific PDM systems preferred
- Must have experience working in a team environment
- Must show initiative to learn and be a self-starter, bringing ideas to the team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, within high-paced environment
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear understanding of design and manufacturing processes
- Experience working under ISO9001 required
- Proven self-starter with a strong initiative to drive designs to completion
- Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance (As required)
