What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Plant Floater position at Sauder's Eggs (Lititz - Sauder's Eggs)?
Job Description
The Plant Floater will learn all jobs within the production area in order to fill in or help out as needed.
Work Schedule;
Days - Sunday to Thursday
Hours - 8:30 pm to 6:30 am or when all orders are complete.
Responsibilities
Fills in for any of the production positions:
- Grader Operator
- Material Handler
- Flat Washer
- Pallet Washer
- Bio Security
- Production Coordinator
- Finisher Product Coordinator
- Case Stacker
- Case Packer
- Overwrap
- Egg Supplier
- Carton Supplier
- Rework/Returns
- Pallet Washer and Loader
- Any other duties assigned by Production Manager
Qualifications
- Must have strong organizational skills and able to multi task
- Must be able to interact with co-workers and supervisors
- Must remain aware of your surroundings at all times to prevent injuries
- Must have basic computer and data entry skills
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours at a time; reach, bend, and squat; push/pull constantly; and lift 30-60 pounds
- Must have basic math skills
- Certified on Electric Pallet Jack and High Lift Operation (Will Train)
- Must wear Steel/Composite Toed Shoes
