What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Manager position at Saucon Valley School District?
Saucon Valley School District is seeking a Game Manager for the 2026–2027 school year across all sports seasons.
As the Game Manager, you will serve as the on-site representative for Saucon Valley Athletics during interscholastic contests, helping ensure safe, organized, and sportsmanlike athletic events. This role reports directly to the Athletic Director and serves as the Athletic Director’s on-site designee.
Responsibilities include:
- Facility setup and game-day preparation (scoreboards, PA systems, seating, locker rooms, equipment, signage, and safety checks)
- Supervision of game operations and game workers (ticket takers, timers, scorekeepers, announcers, statisticians, chain crews, and ball personnel)
- Coordination with officials, visiting teams, and school staff
- Monitoring spectator behavior and promoting positive sportsmanship expectations
- Supporting emergency procedures and responding to issues as needed
- Ensuring facilities are secured and restored after events
- Providing post-event updates regarding incidents, concerns, or facility issues
