Position Overview
- Perform front desk duties such as greeting and welcoming members, checking members and guests into fitness and tennis facilities, booking courts and lessons, answering the phone, tending to questions/complaints, selling pro shop merchandise and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensure that the front desk, pro shop and reception area is kept clean and organized.
- Ensure water, towels, and supplies are stocked around building and courts.
- Maintain cleanliness of building including the fitness center, bathrooms, paddle hut, tennis courts, and lobby area, empty trash at end of shift.
- Sweep, line, and water indoor tennis courts.
- Perform administrative duties such as updating and filing records, among others, as needed.
- Assist the racquets and fitness departments as needed.
- Knowledgeable of club rules and emergency and AED procedures, as well as know the procedure to follow in the event the alarm company needs.
- Weekend availability a must
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
