Role Description This full-time, on-site ELA, Science, and Math Teacher role is located in Claremont, NH within SAU #6. The educator in this position will design and deliver engaging lessons in English Language Arts, Science, and Mathematics aligned with district curriculum and state standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning instruction, assessing student learning, differentiating for varied abilities, and using data to inform teaching practices. The teacher will manage classroom routines, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and integrate cross-curricular activities where appropriate. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues and families, participating in professional development, and contributing to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Strong content knowledge and instructional skills in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
  • Ability to perform effective Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development across ELA, Science, and Math.
  • Status as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate state certification or eligibility for certification in relevant subject areas.
  • Experience or training in teaching English Language Arts and Science at the appropriate grade levels.
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction and ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree or specialized endorsements are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with educational technology, assessment tools, and data-driven instructional practices.
