Role Description
This full-time on-site role is based in Keene, NH. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with district leadership, school boards, and educators to provide support and oversight for educational programs, curriculum development, staff professional growth, and student achievement. Responsibilities include implementing policies, managing budgets, analyzing academic performance data, overseeing district-wide initiatives, and fostering strong communication among all stakeholders. The Assistant Superintendent will also play a critical role in promoting educational equity and supporting a positive school culture.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional practices, and professional learning initiatives
- Skills in data analysis and using metrics to drive academic and organizational improvements
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Experience with school finance, policy implementation, and budget management
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including school boards, faculty, staff, students, and the broader community
- K–12 educational leadership experience preferred
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Appropriate New Hampshire certification as a School Superintendent or eligibility for certification
