John Stark Regional High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Varsity Football Head Coach to lead our student-athletes for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for football, a commitment to athlete development, and the ability to foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop varsity football players both on and off the field.
- Plan, organize, and execute practices, game strategies, and team meetings.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.
- Collaborate effectively with assistant coaches, athletic staff, school administration and team boosters.
- Represent the football program positively within the school and broader community.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships with student-athletes, families, and staff.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and spirited athletic environment.
