Exeter Adult Education is seeking a dynamic and engaging Enrichment Instructor to deliver a Basic Computer Applications class for adult learners in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching beginner-level computing skills in an adult or community education setting. This course is designed for students with little to no prior computer experience.
The instructor will foster a supportive learning environment, adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs, and help students build confidence in using technology for personal, academic, and professional purposes.

- Navigating the Windows operating system
- Creating, saving, and organizing documents and files
- Working with Microsoft Word (basic editing, formatting, saving)
- Introduction to Microsoft Excel (creating simple spreadsheets, entering data, basic formulas)
- Tips for responsible and safe use of technology
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with course goals
- Provide clear instruction and support for basic computing concepts
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage adult learners
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Maintain attendance and participation records
- Communicate effectively with program staff
Required:
- Demonstrated experience teaching adult learners
