JOB ANALYSIS
This job involves bookkeeping tasks and accounting system processes, including allocating charges to accounts, making entries to account records, and preparing standardized reports. Other responsibilities include performing a variety of clerical tasks such as maintaining lists, compiling reports, and verifying information. Establishing operational routines and procedures govern the order and method of work, though independent judgment is required. Work is reviewed by accounting system checks and periodic audits, and is subject to observation for prompt completion of assigned duties.

Business Administrator or Designee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, methods, and procedures and the ability to apply these tasks
· Knowledge of current office practices and procedures
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Quicken, and accounting software
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Ability to prepare clear and concise reports from records
· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with administration, faculty, and staff
· Knowledge of office equipment including copy & postage machines, and phone system
· Assists Administrators with special projects that involve compiling financial information and preparing special reports and budgets
· Attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from High School, 2 years of College or Technical School, and 1 year of experience in business office practices, bookkeeping or accounting skills; specialized courses, training or college level work in business or accounting highly desired.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
District Office is Full Year, High School is 205 days. Refer to the contract between the Londonderry School Board and the Support Staff Union for additional information.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.62 - $18.62 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
