SUMMARY:
Directs, plans, and coordinates activities to ensure any new product launches, product ramp ups, existing product / packaging and or process changes, and product ramp downs are carried out according to internal and external processes. The Product Launch & Change Manager is the coordinator between all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follows and supports all Company Safety policies and procedures
- Manages and coordinates frequent cross functional team meetings to communicate any upcoming changes regarding products, packaging and or materials
- Manages project, action & timing plans for each change and ensures all supporting departments meet the required timelines. Escalates any deviations to senior management.
- Manages and creates any internal and external reports and communications for any changes
- Manages the preparation for any test runs by setting up cross functional checklists, pre-meetings, and line time requests
- Ensures project targets (cost, quality, delivery timing, safety, performance) are met
- Organizes and manages lessons learned meetings after changes
- Manages Product Feeding test
- Responsible to develop and or further improve the internal processes based on experiences and or lessons learned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervision responsibility. Manages cross functional teams
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or supply chain; OR 2 years’ related experience

Related experience includes:
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Food / Petfood experience is preferred but not required
- Project Leader experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
- Must be a self-starter and driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
Computer and Technology Skills:
The successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office applications, Minitab, SAP or other ERP systems
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Salary : $67,800 - $85,800
