Facilities & Maintenance Specialist

As the Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Satori VT, you will be responsible for executing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation and security of our Facility. This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and productive work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Report daily to the Facilities Manager to coordinate the following prioritized tasks within the scope mentioned below.

Maintenance and Repairs:

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and systems.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.

· Calibrate and maintain precision equipment used in cannabis cultivation and processing.

· Collaborate with other departments to schedule and conduct routine equipment checks.

· Perform infrastructure improvement projects, such as plumbing, light carpentry, installing equipment, and more.

• Manage the receiving process and coordinate deliveries
• Maintain our vehicle maintenance schedules and facilitate their servicing

Facilities Security:

· Monitor, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of facility security systems and cameras.

· Conduct regular inspections of security equipment to ensure all systems are operational.

· Collaborate with management to address security concerns and implement enhancements as needed.

Sanitation:

· Perform routine cleaning of the facility, to include; sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing rooms and cultivation equipment, office, bathroom spaces and the loading dock area.

Safety Procedures:

· Adhere to and promote safety protocols within the facility.

· Participate in safety training programs to maintain a safe working environment.

Inventory Management:

· Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts and equipment necessary for repairs.

· Collaborate with the leadership team to monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Cross Training:

· At Satori, we place a high value on cross-training our employees. This role will be trained and expected to help in the Cultivation and Manufacturing Departments, on an as-needed basis, as requested by management.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Board

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is preferred

· 3 years related experience in facilities and maintenance operations

· Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 75lbs occasionally, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed

· Commitment to excellence and high standards

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, technical and analytical skills

· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and compliance requirements
