What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Estimator position at Satori Digital?
Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate estimates from bid documents or sales take-offs.

Collaborate with sales personnel, office staff, subcontractors, and project managers to review scope, submittals, schedules, and contracts.

Attend pre-construction meetings and assist in pre-job planning.

Create equipment lists, schedule deliveries, and coordinate materials with the project manager.

Maintain accurate records and perform additional tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing estimating experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of all commercial roof systems, from new construction to re-roofs.

Skilled in reading and taking off drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe; experience with estimating software (EDGE preferred).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements:

Understanding of roofing practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.

Must comply with OSHA guidelines and SOPs.

Must pass mandatory/random drug tests.

Clean driver’s license required.

Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
