Dump Truck Driver (CDL Required)

Overview

Seeking reliable, experienced, and safety-focused CDL Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. In this role, you’ll operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks while ensuring timely and safe deliveries transporting materials between quarries, work and customer locations while maintaining high standards of safety regulations and traffic laws. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. We’re looking for motivated drivers who thrive on route driving, and maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles and maintain a Class A CDL, including specialized equipment as needed.
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and maintenance of vehicle systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using straps/tarps to prevent damage.
• Adhere to traffic safety regulations at all times while exercising caution, reporting unsafe vehicle or road conditions to management.
• Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to stay informed of route information, effectively communicate with CB radio, phone, and tablet/iPad, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Log and maintain, up-to-date and honest recording times of delivery and hours worked.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Have physical ability to climb in and out of equipment, sit for extended periods of time and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 5 years
• Thorough knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) rules

Pay: $30.00 per hour
