Satilla Bluffs Senior Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and consistent work history who are committed to providing exceptional care to our senior residents.
This role focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where residents can maintain their independence and enjoy a high quality of life. Our team demonstrates genuine respect and compassion for every resident we serve.
Available Shifts
- Full-Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Full-Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Monitor residents' health, including checking vital signs and reporting concerns to nursing staff
- Assist residents with mobility and transportation within the community
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
- Support memory care programs by engaging residents in meaningful activities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred (especially in long-term care or memory care)
- Strong understanding of caregiving practices and senior care environments
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to recognize and report changes in vital signs or resident condition
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
