Smoke Shop Sales Associate – Experienced Only
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18-23/hour
What We're Looking For:
We need someone who knows the ropes. If you’ve worked in a smoke shop or vape store for at least 1 year, we want to talk. If you’ve ever been a manger and trained/supervised others, that’s a strong plus and we might have more responsibilities for you.
Job Duties:
- Help customers find what they need whether it's glass, vapes, tobacco, or accessories
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and secure
- Process sales accurately and handle cash/card transactions
- Check IDs, follow store policies, and maintain legal compliance
- Open/close the store (for experienced staff or those promoted)
- Stay on top of product knowledge, new brands, trends, etc.
- No attitude. Show up, be professional, and stay alert
What You Need:
- 1 year of smoke shop retail experience - mandatory and non-negotiable
- Solid communication skills
- Able to work evenings/weekends/holidays when needed
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and inventory handling
- Managerial experience = big plus
