Involved in attracting talent and setting training standards in Manufacturing. Also analyze and improve processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.Qualifications:· 7 years of progressive leadership experience in metal milling and turning of aircraft engine parts· 5 years of production planning· Bachelor’s Degree· Must be a US citizen· Strong Shop floor execution to support production planning· Knowledge of 5 axis milling and large turning of aircraft engine parts· Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS13100· Lean/CI working knowledge (lean Six Sigma Preferred) and strong root cause problem solving· Comfortable with ERP/MRP (ECI MFG Office or similar) and Microsoft Office· Calm, clear communicator who collaborates cross-functionally and navigates changing priorities· Proven people leadership: coaching, mentorship, expectation-setting and performance accountabilityresponsibilities:· Environment: Clean aerospace & defense manufacturing; validate Machine Maintenance· Physical: Periods of walking/sitting and computer work, lift up to 50 lbs.· Frequent interaction with Operators and Machinist and work with Engineers and Quality personnel· Coordinate and Assemble teams to handle issues that arise· Asset allocation to ensure efficient flow of product to support production planning· Notify Ownership of machine maintenance issues and must be involved in repair process whenissues come up on the machine.· Highly involved in Machine purchases and strategies for growth.· Follow and enforce work instructions, Policies and procedures.· Follow quality system to maintain part quality.· Lead in troubleshooting any issues in the manufacturing of parts and or machining issues· Complete/fill in reports· Collaborate with Production Planning in scheduling decisions to ensure proper work flow· Support Continuous improvement effortsCompany DescriptionGrowing manufacturing company of aircraft engine parts and helicopter parts.
