Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs on various automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of dealership practices and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including alignment, oil changes, and routine inspections.
- Collaborate with other technicians to improve service efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timelines for customers.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician in an automotive dealership setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and repair techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and their components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $23.52 - $28.33 per hour
