Role Description
We are seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer to drive end-to-end design for web platforms, mobile applications, and ongoing digital maintenance initiatives. This full-time, on-site role requires strong visual design skills, user-centered thinking, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design for modern, responsive, and accessible web and mobile experiences
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Ensure intuitive navigation, strong branding, and ADA/WCAG compliance
- Design consistent iOS/Android interfaces with dashboards, planners, media, and interactive features
- Maintain visual consistency across web and mobile platforms
- Provide design updates for new features, improvements, and UI optimization
- Support bug fixes, accessibility refinements, and usability enhancements
- Ensure all designs meet quality, security, and compliance standards
- Collaborate on review cycles, revisions, and acceptance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
- Strong portfolio with web/mobile UI/UX work (preferably government or enterprise)
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, design systems, and usability standards
Requirements
- 5–8 years of UI/UX experience (with lead/ownership roles)
- Experience designing for web platforms, CMS sites, and mobile applications
- Understanding of ADA/WCAG, Section 508 accessibility best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder presentation skills
- Eligibility: GC or U.S. Citizen
- Bonus: Experience supporting RFP designs, familiarity with government deliverables, basic frontend understanding
