We are so excited to be offering you a position at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Experience a professional and friendly work environment with the positions and qualifications listed below.
We are seeking staff (for approximately 4 shifts a week). MUST have weekend availability.
These positions are mostly daytime hours on weekdays and weekends, with evening hours added during nighttime garden events. Normal café hours are 9:00am– 5:00pm.
Our customers have learned to expect fast, friendly, and accurate service with a smile from the employees at the Missouri Botanical Garden, and we are excited to be adding to our team!
Minimum requirements for dishwasher / utility:
· Some experience in food service
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Hand wash and sanitize all pots and pans
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Capable of bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
- Ability to go up and down stairs
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
- Capacity to work in hot, humid environment and on your feet for an 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Background screenings and direct deposit information will be required for all new hires.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
