What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support & Experience Specialist position at Sashco?

As the Customer Support & Experience Specialist, you need to deliver a superior experience to both end-user customers and direct buyers with ordering product, providing technical information, and resolving problems.
Status: Flexible (Full-Time or Part-Time job share)
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hr
Ideal Candidate:
  • Answer customer technical questions in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Take orders by phone, fax, online, in person, or other means as needed. Process requests for literature and samples.
  • Enter orders or data into appropriate systems and double check for accuracy.
  • Maintain and communicate all relevant customer information, including customer databases, shipment tracking, etc.
  • Actively listen to and respond appropriately to customer complaints and claims, recording notes in appropriate systems. Refer complaints of possible manufacture defects to Quality Check Team for investigation.
  • Provide accurate, timely, friendly information via live chat.
  • Respond to customer e-mail inquiries per team guidelines as well as handle any day-to-day correspondence and routine phone inquiries.
  • Process return authorizations (RMAs).
  • Request credit and/or debit memos from Accounts Receivables to reconcile pricing or billing problems.
  • Update and maintain procedures for regular tasks.
  • Process EDI orders and maintain basic information in appropriate systems.
Candidates must haves:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (heavy in Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Salesforce and Dynamics GP experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to two events a year.
  • Other duties as assigned.
