Shipping Clerk

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipping operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The Shipping Clerk plays a vital role in supporting distribution processes, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining safety and accuracy standards. The Shipping Clerk is primarily responsible for all aspects of pulling, packing, and filling customers' orders.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders with 100% accuracy and shipping orders via UPS, FedEx, and LTL truck shipments
• Process orders in SAGE, UPS world ship, FedEx and LTL bill of ladings
• Assist in stoking shelves, moving overstock to proper location
• Warehouse up-keep, maintaining cleanliness of warehouse to include floors trash and restrooms
• Prepare freight quotes for Sales and Customer Service
• Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines while performing your job
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous warehouse experience required, especially in shipping or distribution roles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to quickly learn software databases and complete bills of lading
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Neat in appearance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
• Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our shipping team while working in a dynamic warehouse environment focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Physical Demands:

This job has physical requirements such as: occasional bending squatting, kneeling,

stooping, food finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; speaking, hearing

and visual acuity and being able to lift 50 pounds either individually or with assistance.

Work Environment:

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
