About the Role
We are partnering with a leading alternative investment firm seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to support capital raising across private equity and venture capital strategies.
This is a front office role within a lean, high performing team, offering direct exposure to institutional investors and active fundraising processes. The position provides the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in investor engagement and capital raising execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capital raising across private equity and venture capital strategies
- Manage and maintain a detailed CRM of institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, and large family offices
- Track fundraising pipelines, investor interactions, and follow-ups
- Prepare investor materials including pitch decks, updates, and meeting briefs
- Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and events
- Support due diligence processes including DDQs and data room management
- Partner with internal teams to ensure consistency in investor communications
- Gather investor feedback and market intelligence to support fundraising strategy
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience in investor relations, fundraising, or a client-facing role within private equity, venture capital, or alternatives
- Strong understanding of private markets, including IRR, MOIC, and fund structures
- Experience working with institutional investors (pensions, endowments, large family offices)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process management skills
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamo)
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
- Series 7 and/or Series 66 preferred, or willingness to obtain
