To support this mission, we are seeking a Facilities Technician / Calibration Technician for our site in Marlborough, MA. This is a full‑time onsite role in our local Facilities organization.
As a Facilities Technician at Sartorius, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of the facility's infrastructure and equipment. This role involves supporting various aspects of the facility's operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment. You will work closely with the Facilities team to address any issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

As a Facilities Technician at Sartorius, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of the facility's infrastructure and equipment. You will work closely with the Facilities team to address any issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Grow With Us - Your Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure
- Timely execution of maintenance requests and work orders
- Participation in preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable equipment performance and regulatory compliance
- Documentation and tracking of maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with GMP and OSHA standards
- Support of laboratory, office, and common‑area setup, including equipment installation and relocation
- Operational support across multiple Sartorius facilities in the Marlborough area
- Coordination with external vendors, including oversight of service quality and escalation of issues to the Facilities Manager
- Accurate maintenance of work orders, equipment logs, and facility documentation
- Reporting of facility issues or concerns to the Facilities Manager
- Guidance and training of junior technicians, as well as support for facility‑related projects and initiatives
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications beneficial
- Experience (1 years) in facilities maintenance, calibration, or general building operations—biotech/pharma experience advantageous
- Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Physically able to lift, carry, climb, and perform hands‑on technical work
- Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, and regulatory requirements considered a plus
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or on‑call rotations when required
