Customer Relations Administrator

Description

Essential Functions

·       Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing advertising clients, community partners, businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

·    Conduct sales presentations and educate clients and partners on the benefits of transit advertising, sponsorships, and public transportation services.

·    Develop customized advertising proposals, partnership presentations, campaigns, and pricing structures.

·    Coordinate advertising campaigns, partnership initiatives, and promotional activities with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and effective implementation.

·         Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and revenue goals.

·    Build collaborative community relationships and actively represent the organization at networking events, community meetings, conferences, outreach events, and business functions to promote public transportation and cultivate strategic partnerships.

·    Create, coordinate, and lead community engagement activities, public relations efforts, presentations, tours, and outreach opportunities for community groups, schools, businesses, organizations, seniors, veterans, students, individuals with disabilities, and other community partners.

·    Assist riders, families, caregivers, and support agencies by providing accurate information regarding transit services, programs, routes, schedules, rider tools, technology, trip planning, and transportation options.

·        Receive, document, and respond to customer inquiries, service-related information, feedback, engagement activities, and correspondence utilizing transit tools and technology.

·    Identify innovative ways to leverage transit assets, programs, community relationships, and organizational resources to increase revenue and public awareness of transit services.

·    Maintain accurate records, contracts, reports, and tracking documentation related to sales, partnerships, outreach, engagement, training activities, sponsorships, and revenue generation.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred;  equivalent experience considered.

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, community outreach, public  relations, partnership development, or related field preferred.

·         Experience in transit operations, community engagement, or public speaking preferred.

Other Requirements

·         Maintain a valid driver’s license from Ohio and a good driving record.

·         Must be able to comply with SARTA’s Nicotine-free work environment.

·   Must pass an employment physical examination to be certified for the position and maintain a physical condition that, either with or without accommodation, allows completion of all essential duties.

·    Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, and must be able to comply with SARTA’s Drug and Alcohol Policy and function in a drug-free and alcohol-free work environment.

·   Must submit documentation supporting United States citizenship or an alien lawfully authorized to work in the United States in accordance with SARTA’s obligation under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
