This position operates on our 2nd Shift, offering a consistent schedule with occasional overtime:
- Hours: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Overtime: Occasional Saturdays required.
What You'll Do: Your Essential Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our production floor, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and reliably. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute assigned preventative maintenance orders on all production equipment and machinery.
- Expert Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Injection Molding Focus: Perform routine maintenance on Injection Molding equipment as directed.
- Work Order Completion: Efficiently complete assigned work orders from the Production department.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Actively contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Skills
Education and Experience:
- An Associate's degree in Mechanical Science from a two-year college or technical school.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced mechanical skills in an industrial environment are required.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Intermediate knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word Processing and Microsoft Access Database software.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, using hands. Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Setting: Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes/airborne particles. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
- Travel: Requires up to 25% local travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
