What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Saro Cider Lounge?
Saro is seeking a reliable, friendly part-time bartender (10-15 hrs/ week) who will be able to present our craft hard ciders. Our bar also serves innovative cocktails and small bites. Great bartenders will provide excellent customer service. Compensation includes wages and tips.
Responsibilities
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience including an ability to share information about our ciders and our brand.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Must be able to work evening & weekend hours.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for patrons.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Comply with all food and beverage laws and regulations, including checking customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
- Some cleaning of bar.
- Complete Saro Cider training.
Skills
- Positive outgoing attitude, genuine smile, and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
- City food and alcohol server permits.
- Food handlers permit.
