What are the responsibilities and job description for the Frontend Platform Engineer (Junior) position at Sarmaya AI?
At Sarmaya, we build custom enterprise systems powered by explainable AI and agentic workflows engineered around each client's data, governance, and operations. We're looking for a Junior Frontend Platform Engineer to help build the interfaces that make complex systems clear and usable.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain frontend features and components under the guidance of senior engineers
- Write clean, reusable code and help connect interfaces to backend services and APIs
- Support debugging, testing, and release of production web applications
- Learn how Explainable AI and agentic workflows are surfaced through intuitive, transparent interfaces
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of frontend development experience (internships and strong projects count)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, component-based architecture, and version control (Git)
- An eye for clean UI, usability, and detail
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
