Manager, Development Analytics

The Manager, Development Analytics is responsible for supporting and advancing the administrative, reporting, analytics, and project coordination functions of the Global Development department. This role serves as the central point of coordination for development-related information, ensuring accurate reporting, project visibility, data integrity, and operational alignment across real estate, renewals, remodels, relocations, closures and franchise development initiatives.

The role is designed to operate in a highly analytical and execution-oriented capacity and is expected to contribute independently across reporting, systems administration, project tracking, portfolio analytics, and cross-functional coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities

Development Administration & Project Coordination

• Maintain development pipeline reporting and provide regular updates on site approvals, LOIs, lease execution, construction status, openings, remodels, and closures.
• Track and report status of renewals, remodels, relocations, closures, and new restaurant development projects.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for development initiatives.
• Maintain organized records of leases, approvals, development agreements, and project documentation.
• Monitor project timelines and proactively identify delays, risks, and missing information.
• Maintain departmental SharePoint sites, document repositories, templates, and development records to ensure information is organized, current, and accessible.

Development Analytics & Business Insights

• Prepare presentations for monthly development committee and bi-weekly real estate committees; support in board presentations and updates.
• Develop and distribute recurring reports and dashboards related to lease renewals, remodels, development pipeline activity, and portfolio management.
• Analyze portfolio, lease, and project data to identify risks, opportunities, trends, and required actions.
• Support annual planning, forecasting, capital planning, and strategic development initiatives.
• Perform market analysis, mapping, and ad hoc analytical projects supporting growth initiatives.

Development Systems & Data Management

• Serve as primary administrator for development databases, tracking systems, and reporting platforms – including Leasecake, Buxton and Placer.AI
• Support implementation and optimization of development technology platforms and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity across all development systems.
• Generate executive-level reporting and business review materials.

Lease Renewal & Remodel Administration

• Maintain comprehensive renewal and remodel trackers and reporting.
• Monitor critical lease dates, option deadlines, rent escalations, and landlord obligations.
• Prepare renewal schedules, supporting analyses, and executive summaries.
• Track remodel budgets, approvals, schedules, and completion milestones.
• Supports legal in tracking and follow ups related to leases and real estate agreements.
• Maintain lease abstract database (Leasecake) and ensure all lease terms, options, critical dates, rent escalations, and obligations are accurately tracked and updated.
• Coordinate lease documentation and support execution of renewals, amendments, assignments, relocations, and closures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, Facilities, Construction, Marketing, and Franchise Development teams.
• Support preparation of presentations, executive updates, business reviews, and special project materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in real estate administration, development operations, business analytics, project coordination, or related functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience with lease administration, CRM, project management, and reporting systems preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-unit retail, restaurant, franchise, hospitality, or real estate organizations preferred.

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based with periodic travel as required to support business initiatives, meetings, site visits, or operational needs.
