Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Care for flooring through proper cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor care procedures
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked for daily operations
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as trash removal, window cleaning, and restroom upkeep
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and courteously
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials
- Ability to perform floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard floors
- Experience with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics with care
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for residents or guests
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
