What You Do.

  • Be the financial voice at the table. Serve as the senior finance leader—and trusted “CFO”—on the Consumer Products Leadership Team, delivering sharp insights that drive performance, financial discipline, and long term growth and investment strategy.
  • Own the commercial P&L. Act as the financial steward of the business, providing clear guidance and analysis to fuel profitable growth and smarter decision making.
  • Shape the future through strategic planning. Lead long range financial planning with robust scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis across volume, margin expansion, and new product strategies. Partner closely with the business to assess risks and opportunities tied to markets, customers, and competitors.
  • Drive forecasting excellence. Own monthly forecasting and annual planning for Consumer Products, ensuring accuracy by identifying key business drivers, surfacing risks early, and recommending actions to stay ahead of targets.
  • Influence pricing and margin strategy. Play a key role on the Price Commodity Management (PCM) team, connecting commodity cost movements to pricing decisions. Model pricing and cost sensitivities to protect margins while maintaining marketplace competitiveness and principled strategy.
  • Lead financial strategy for innovation. Oversee end to end financial modeling for new product launches—from investment and promotions to COGS, marketing, and SG&A. Translate complex trade offs into clear insights that maximize ROI while balancing competitiveness and margin goals.
    • Monitor in market performance and recommend course corrections
    • Own post launch ROI tracking and evaluation
  • Unlock profitability insights. Deliver deep analysis across customers and products, including portfolio rationalization, contribution per hour, capacity utilization, and mix optimization—turning insights into margin enhancing actions.
  • Build and lead a high performing FP&A team. Inspire, coach, and develop a team operating in a fast paced environment, overseeing:
    • Financial modeling for distribution, pricing, and promotion investments
    • Trade planning rate development and governance
    • Monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual planning for CP SG&A and Market Support Expense
  • Modernize finance through technology. Actively lead finance transformation initiatives to enhance analytics, sharpen visibility into key business drivers, and improve speed, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Develop talent and culture. Provide strong leadership and coaching to direct reports, fostering growth, succession planning, and continuous capability building.
  • Champion organizational effectiveness. Strengthen FP&A’s impact and the broader organization by promoting trust, collaboration, transparency, and healthy debate—driving better, bolder business decisions.
  • Manage and mentor 3 direct reports, full team of 5

Your Education And Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited four year college or university.
  • 10 years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally within the consumer products or CPG industry.
  • Advanced credentials preferred, including an MBA and/or CPA, reflecting a strong foundation in both strategic finance and business leadership.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen. You’re comfortable diving into data, solving complex problems, and turning analysis into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced technical and systems skills. You bring deep experience with spreadsheets and data analysis tools, with strong Excel skills (advanced preferred). You’re proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working within integrated business systems; experience with SAP and Analysis for Office is a plus.
  • Clear and confident communicator. You can translate complex financial concepts into compelling stories, both verbally and in writing, and build strong relationships across teams and functions.
  • Sound judgment and problem solving ability. You’re skilled at defining problems, gathering and interpreting data, evaluating multiple variables, and drawing thoughtful, fact based conclusions.
  • Highly organized and adaptable. You manage multiple priorities with ease, stay focused on what matters most, and adapt quickly as business needs or project scopes evolve.
  • Collaborative and self directed. You thrive working independently while also being a strong team player who values collaboration and shared success.
  • Detail oriented with strategic perspective. You pay close attention to accuracy while understanding how projects, programs, and analyses connect to broader corporate strategy.
  • Business minded finance expertise. You bring a solid understanding of cost drivers, COGS, and P&L dynamics, using that knowledge to support better business decisions.
  • Motivated by challenge. You enjoy tackling complex problems, navigating change, and continuously improving how work gets done.
