- Reconcile, monitor, and report on cash activity
- Record client requisitions and maintain accounts receivable reporting
- Process and track subcontractor invoices and payments
- Administer and monitor company credit card usage
- Prepare and maintain exemption certificates and lien waivers for projects
- Review accounts payable transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and record adjusting journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of accounting or related experience preferred (internships or relevant coursework considered)
- Experience in a construction or trades environment is a plus, but not required
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Demonstrates professionalism and ethical conduct
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures, including recordkeeping and filing systems
- General familiarity with office equipment and standard business tools
