Summary

As a Reporter at Sargent's Court Reporting Service, you will play a vital role in capturing and transcribing legal proceedings accurately. This position is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the legal process and contributes significantly to our mission of providing exceptional court reporting services.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe legal proceedings, including depositions and court hearings.
• Ensure all transcripts are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to clarify any unclear dialogue or terminology.
• Utilize transcription software and equipment effectively to produce quality work.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during proceedings.
• Stay updated on legal terminology and industry standards to enhance transcription accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transcription, preferably within the legal field.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
• Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft Word is preferred.
• Administrative experience is beneficial but not required.
