We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Soccer Instructors to join our team. Responsibilities
- Lead youth soccer classes and training sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages.
- Develop age-appropriate drills and activities that promote fundamental soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor participant behavior, providing positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities, including proper use of equipment and field safety measures.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and participation.
- Maintain equipment, set up training areas, and ensure the cleanliness of the activity space.
- Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to develop confidence in their athletic abilities.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in sports coaching, childcare, or teaching physical education is highly preferred.
- Skills in various physical activities such as swimming, martial arts (Karate, Judo), cheerleading, climbing, basketball, or gym activities are advantageous.
- Experience working with students or managing behavior in active settings is essential.
- Knowledge of sports coaching techniques and child development principles.
- Lifeguard experience is a plus but not required; relevant certifications are beneficial.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and parents while demonstrating patience and enthusiasm.
- Must be reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a positive experience for all participants.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
