Saratoga Medical is hiring a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist in Houston, TX. Package includes competitive rate, paid time off and benefit options.

Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist at Houston, TX . This is a great full-time opportunity, 36 - 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Minimum Qualifications:

Education

• MS or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field
  
  

Certification

• Board Certified (ABR or equivalent)
  
  

Recent Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of continuous work within the last 3 years
  
  

Required Specialized Experience:

• Quality Assurance (QA) Procedures: 2 years of documented experience performing QA procedures
• Therapeutic Medical Physics (Accredited System): 1 year of experience within a healthcare system with an accredited radiation oncology service
• Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam or equivalent): 1 year following TG-142 standards
• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT: 1 year following TG-142 standards
• Treatment Planning Systems: 1 year of experience with Pinnacle, Eclipse, and R&V systems (Mosaiq, ARIA), including 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, DIBH, SGRT, IMRT/VMAT per TG-53 guidelines
• IMRT QA: 1 year using MapCheck I/II or equivalent
• CT Simulator (GE or equivalent): 1 year following TG-66 standards
