Position Summary:
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for an Athletic Performance Coach and we are excited to have you join our team! The Athletic Performance Coach will be responsible for leading Athletic Performance classes: functional training focused on improving speed, agility, coordination, and age-appropriate strength. Coaches will help athletes develop proper technique and body control, while encouraging kids to challenge themselves, celebrate progress, and grow stronger—both physically and mentally. As part of the Health and Wellness team, the Athletic Performance Coach is responsible for fostering and promoting an energetic, motivating, safe, and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications; Child Abuse Prevention Training, Sexual Harassment Prevention Training required within 60 days of hire date.
- 1 year group training experience preferred.
- 1 year youth program experience preferred.
- Must possess a current YMCA or NCCA-accredited Certified Personal Trainer certification.
