Position: General Maintenance Technician
The position of General Maintenance Technician plays a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for all guests.

Position: General Maintenance Technician

It is also professionally understood that any other tasks that are assigned are expected to be handled, once understood and agreed upon. This position is reported directly to the General Manager.
Educational background:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or trade certification is a plus
- Need a valid drivers license, CDL is a plus
- 3-5 Years of experience in general maintenance or related fields preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and IT troubleshooting techniques
- Must have familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
- Must have the ability to lift at least 50lbs in physically demanding tasks
- Must display strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Expected to have refined problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Expected to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems and equipment.
- Should be able to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues such as outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Ability to address plumbing concerns including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations.
- Complete basic carpentry tasks including drywall repair, door adjustments, and hardware replacements.
- Assist with basic IT-related tasks such as setting up office equipment, running low-voltage cabling, or working with network hardware under supervision.
- Expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Help to maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with external vendors or contractors when specialized services are required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors.
- Be prepared to help with any snow shoveling/ plowing and salting in the wintertime.
- Hourly $17-$21 based on experience.
- Housing assistance may be available per occupancy.
