About The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Rehab Manager to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our clinical & administrative team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As the Rehab Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing outpatient clinical programs and services for the Regional Therapy Center maximizing business profitability and exceeding customer expectations. You will assist in the management and administrative functions of the department. In the absence of the Director, you will assume oversight of the department.

What You’ll Do

• Directly supervises clinical staff and support staff as assigned, including participation in the selection and orientation of clinical and support staff and conducting annual performance appraisals; supervises RTC staff as assigned. Coordinates and supervises the outpatient site leaders.
• Assists with the administration and management functions of RTC, including but not limited to, development and implementation of the operations and capital budgets, departmental annual goals, and policies and procedures.
• Integrate and coordinate outpatient satellite locations, programs and support services to optimize patient and customer (e.g., referral source) satisfaction.
• Manages the operations of the satellite locations ensuring maximum efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Identifies and recommends potential outpatient clinical programs and services for development
• Manages the implementation and promotion of the RTC outpatient programs and services, including leading the RTC Business Development Team.
• Assists in outpatient clinical staff development by recommending/providing specific clinical education, training and support to ensure clinical staff competence and clinical program effectiveness.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence
• Perform clinical & administrative responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction
• Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community
  
  

What You Bring

• Minimum of ten years’ experience as a licensed rehabilitation therapist.
• Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a hospital.
• Internal candidates who completed the RTC administrative apprenticeship program are preferred.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State as an occupational therapist, physical therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
• Certificate in Clinical Competency (CCC-SP) from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required for speech-language pathologists.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service
