Summary: 

The Supply Chain Director is a key leader driving the growth, performance, and efficiency of our statewide purchasing and procurement of inventory from our suppliers. Overseeing this process and Team members across the 2025 combined Saratoga Eagle and Try-It Distributing footprint, this role ensures alignment between suppliers and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and creative communicator with advanced analytical skills and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI). They possess strong commercial acumen, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a talent for connecting teams with the tools and insights needed to grow market share.

Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):  

•    Develop and implement procurement strategies with individual suppliers.
•    Better management and improve communication with existing suppliers, reduce existing SKU’s in the best interest of the company, establish standards for new items.
•    Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, purchasing, supply planning, and inventory control. 
•    Monitor and maintain most cost-efficient inventory levels.
•    Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process improvements. 
•    Work with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, delivery, finance, brand management, sales) to understand their needs and align procurement strategies. 
•    Report monthly on overstock and slow move inventory.
•    Monitor supplier performance and address any issues, ensuring compliance with contracts and performance standards.
•    Lead, mentor, and support a team of purchasing professionals to achieve departmental and company goals. 
•    Drive SOP meetings with brand management and operations to ensure company goals are being met.
•    Complete implementation of the Order Stream to utilize for the procurement from all vendors.
•    Reports directly to VP of Operations.

•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering. 
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in managing purchasing/ procurement/ supply chain department preferably in the beverage or food industry. 
•    Proven leadership experience managing teams. 
•    Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and strategic analysis skills. 
•    Expertise in implementing inventory management and e-procurement systems. 
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and data-driven decision-making skills.
