Residential Registered Nurse (RN)

We're looking for an energetic RN for a daytime, Monday through Friday nursing position. There are no evenings or weekends shifts. We are the Arc in Saratoga County, and we support adults with developmental disabilities in homes. If you have no experience working with people with developmental disabilities, we will provide you with paid training. Our nurses provide direct nursing services to the people we support. This includes passing medication and attending medical appointments with the person. You would also develop an annual nursing Health Care Plan and quarterly reviews. On an ongoing basis you would look for signs of illness that warrant medical or nursing intervention. Our health care professionals train and guide our Direct Support Professionals (DSP), who are lay persons, in providing care.

The payrate for this position is $40.00 per hour.
