Are you a Physical Therapist with a NYS Licensure in good standing? Do you have a bachelor's degree or greater in Physical Therapy? Are you looking for Monday through Friday daytime position? Are you looking for a truly meaningful job? Saratoga Bridges is looking for a PT for our Ballston Spa Day Service location. You would be working with adults with a developmental disability who get supports from Saratoga Bridges. You must have 2 years of experience working with people who have a developmental disability to be eligible for this role.
In this role, the Physical Therapist works as part of an interdisciplinary team providing assessments on a person's strengths and needs. Then develops, implements, and supervises programs to restore and/or maintain musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, or postural abilities. This practitioner provides consultation and instruction to the Day Habilitation employees to ensure proper techniques are carried out in the classroom and provides in-service training as appropriate. This role also involves timely and thorough maintenance of adaptive equipment working with vendors. As with any PT role, there are documentation requirements set by IPSIDD that must be completed at the time of service.
This is a 35 hour a weekday position. The payrate is $34.00 to $37.00 per hour.
